Christopher Pash & Sarah Moar
The
idea for Pash Moar Pizza came to Christopher Pash and Sarah Moar when
the Nation hired Abroginal Entrepreneur to hold a start your
own business workshop. After this workshop
they approached the
Economic Development of the Cree Nation of Chisasibi and asked if they
could have some assistance. From this stage the process of
developing
their business plan began. It took a while to finalize things
and on
February 22, 2005 their dream became a reality. It took two
years to accomplish and it is important to
note that the couple never let go of the Vision.
Both of them
acknowledge that it has
been a learning curve and they have experienced many challenges, but
over the past year and a half have gained valuable and
practical experience. Recently they have taken a
hands on management
and accounting training paid for by Cree Human
Resource Department.
Recently at a
business conference
held by the Chisasibi Business Service Center Christopher and
Sarah
were the special guests and were invited to make a speech. We
are attaching a copy of their speech. click

Pash Moar
Pizza continues doing very
well and Christopher and Sarah are very pleased with the growth of the
business and have decided that they are ready for an expansion next
year. They will add 560 sq. ft. so that they can have some
badly
needed storage, increase their kitchen size, add some
equipment and
have a restaurant section for their clients in addition to
their take
out services. They are now in the process of building this expansion.
Pash Moar
Pizza is an excellent
example of the kinds of local businesses that can assist in the
continuing development of a strong and vibrant local
economy. We
salute this hard working couple Chrisopher Pash and Sarah
Moar. Their
willingness and dedication can be used as an example of all the
possibilities for the people of Chisasibi and all the communties of
James Bay and the entire country.
