1) On the first day, we hold a workshop
with Council,
Economic Development, Educators and any other community leaders on the
most effective way of delivering a sound and sustainable Economic
Development for the Nation. This has 5 major thrusts 1.
Creating
Awareness, Motivation and Education 2. Strengths and
weaknesses
of Nation owned and operated enterprises. 3.
Developing
long-term partnerships and joint ventures. 4. Inspiring
privately
owned and operated enterprises. 5. Developing a sustainable,
long-term strategy.
2) In the evening we will hold a session
open to the
entire community on starting businesses. In my experience at
least 20% of the community has been dreaming about this. The
main
purpose of this evening is to motivate and encourage and start the
process of creating an “Entrepreneur Friendly
Community”. In other words, embracing
economic
development
3) The next day we will continue the
workshop on
developing a strategy for sustainability and immediate creation of
a Virtual Business Incubator which will provide all the
training,
resources and coaching needed to start businesses..
